The Marcussen organ, widely regarded as one of the finest organs in the country, is a four-manual tracker instrument with 66 speaking stops, including two 32' stops. There is also a one-manual Tickell chamber organ. Both instruments are available for hire for use in recordings.

Big School is also very suited to recordings with its magnificent Bösendorfer 9'2" piano. Paul Lewis has played this instrument on a number of occasions for his acclaimed complete cycle of the Beethoven piano sonatas.
